This eerie ghost town has houses shaped like UFOs

Any sci-fi nerd would love to live in these futuristic looking houses.

Unfortunately, the whole place has been a ghost town since the 1970s.

Located in Taiwan, the abandoned village has two types of houses, the ones shaped like UFOs and a number of square 'Venturo' properties.

It is believed that a nearby housing development, coupled with the huge costs of building the unusual properties, ultimately led to the abandonment of the settlement.

Very little is known about the mystery town, which is perhaps why stories of hauntings and unfortunate accidents cling to the area.
