Egypt Announces Discovery of Dozens More Ancient Coffins in Saqqara Necropolis

The Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Khaled El-Enany, announced the discovery of dozens more ancient coffins at a vast graveyard in Saqqara on October 19 after a similar announcement earlier this month.

Details regarding the colorful 2,000-year-old coffins would follow soon, he added.

Egyptian archeologists on October 3 announced the discovery of 59 well-preserved coffins at the Saqqara necropolis.
