Egyptians Celebrate as Mubarak Acquitted Over Deaths of 'Protesters'

Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak was acquitted on March 2 by the country’s top appeals court of charges related to a number of protesters’ deaths six years ago during the uprising that ended his rule.

Mubarak was accused of involvement in the deaths of 900 protesters during the uprising, which began on January 25, 2011, AlJazeera English said.
