Eight fire engines battle Flintshire factory blaze
Firefighters battled a blaze at a factory, in Flintshire, last night (Saturday). It broke out in Mostyn and at its height, there were eight engines at the scene, after the fire service was called at around 8.30pm.
The blaze was extinguished by 1am, but fire officers were due to return to the scene today (Sunday), to continue investigations into. A social media image showed smoke rising into the sky after the fire broke out, with the River Dee in the background.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service statement last night said: "We’re currently in attendance at a fire at a factory in Mostyn, #Flintshire. Please keep away from the area while we tackle the fire."

Today a fire service spokesperson said: "We were called at 8.32pm and eight fire engines were at the scene." The spokesperson said there was currently no cause identified, or information on the damage as investigations continue.
