Elderly man, 90, missing as police urge public to help
A desperate search is underway for a missing 90-year-old man who was last seen at his home this morning. Merseyside Police is appealing for the public’s help to find 90-year-old Trevor Roberts, who is missing from his home in Southport.
Update - Trevor has been found safe and well
Trevor was last seen at his home at 7.30am this morning, Tuesday, 14 January, and he has not returned home since. He is understood to live in the PR8 area. He is described as a white male slim build and short with grey short hair.

It is believed he could be wearing a black coat, joggers, a woolly hat and Wellington boots and usually walks with a stick. Police said they are becoming "increasingly concerned for Trevor's welfare, and are appealing for anyone who may have seen him to contact us on 999, so we can make sure he's safe and well."
