Elk Herd Crosses Highway in Salt Lake City, Briefly Stopping Traffic

A large herd of elk crossed a highway in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Wednesday, February 1, prompting a brief traffic stop, local transport authorities said.

Footage released by the Utah Department of Transportation shows the herd stopping before carefully crossing the highway just south of Interstate 80 and Foothill Drive.
