Ellie Goulding Records Track For Bridget Jones's Baby

As if we weren’t already hyped to see the upcoming chick flick, Ellie has given it her seal of approval by recording the theme song for the sequel.

The track - called Still Falling For You - will drop on Friday and feature on the soundtrack for the movie that stars Renée Zellweger.

The 29-year-old pop superstar teased a clip from the song and video on her Facebook today and we literally can’t wait to hear the full version, especially because it will be the first musical offering from Ellie since her 2015 album Delirium.

The On My Mind hitmaker previously penned the smash hit, Love Me Like You Do, for the movie Fifty Shades of Grey and her song Beating Heart was also used in 2014’s Divergence, so she’s got a great track record for writing mega tunes for movies.

Ellie’s pal Ed Sheeran also has a cameo role in the eagerly-anticipated film, which will see Zellweger return as the titular character for a third time.

Still Falling For You is said to be a romantic ballad and we wonder if it hints at Ellie’s own love life, and her split earlier this year from Dougie Poynter.
