Ellie Leach addresses Coronation Street return possibility
Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach has talked about the possibility of returning to the ITV soap following her Strictly Come Dancing win.
Leach played Faye Windass on the soap from 2011 up until her departure last year, and since then she's gone on to wow the Strictly judges and viewers alike on the live shows as well as the recent Strictly tour.
Appearing on last night's (February 16) The One Show, Leach was asked if she'd go back to Corrie.

"I mean never say never, obviously," she said. "[Faye] didn't die. I spent so many amazing years there, I grew up there, and they will always be like my family, so yeah, it was an amazing experience and I loved it."
The star is currently rehearsing for the UK touring production of Cluedo 2 – The Next Chapter, the Hasbro board game adaptation, where she will play Miss Scarlett.
"After an incredible year, I’m so excited to join the cast of Cluedo 2," the actress said at the time. "I’m delighted to make my stage acting debut as Miss Scarlett, and I can’t wait to work with Jason and the talented cast."

She will also be reuniting with her former co-stars in a reality series called Drama Queens, which will show viewers what the real life of a soap actress is life, balancing the demanding schedules of the shows themselves with all the photo shoots and award ceremonies.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX. The One Show airs weekdays at 7pm on BBC One.
