Elliot Page has been praised for posing without his shirt on for the first time since coming out as trans in December.
In an Instagram post, published by the actor on Tuesday, he was seen smiling while posing at a pool in swimming shorts.
The picture was captioned #transjoy and #transisbeautiful.
Speaking to Winfrey, the 34-year-old said: “It’s getting out of the shower and the towel’s around your waist and you’re looking at yourself in the mirror and you’re just like, ‘There I am’. And I’m not having the moment where I’m panicked.”
The picture quickly racked up two million likes and thousands of comments from celebrity friends and fans.
The Vampire Diaries’ Nina Dobrev said: “You look amazing…and most of all happy.”
Julianne Moore, who acted alongside Page in the film Freeheld, wrote: “Happy summer” next to a flame emoji.
The Good Place star Jameela Jamil tweeted: “Good to see @TheElliotpage thriving.”
In his interview with Winfrey, the activist also touched on how life-saving surgery is.
“Not only has it been life-changing for me, I do believe it’s been life-saving and it’s the case for so many people. And because there is such an attack on trans healthcare right now, when already there’s such lack of access,” he added.
The actor was referring to laws implemented across America including the recent legal battle threatening to ban young transgender people from accessing certain medical treatments.
