Elton John and his family got into the Halloween spirit with a special rendition of his hit Crocodile Rock.

The 73-year-old singer, his husband David Furnish, 58, and their two sons Zachary, nine, and Elijah, seven, slipped into some festive costumes for a joyous family TikTok video.

The clip posted on Wednesday saw the Tiny Dancer hitmaker sat behind a keyboard dressed as Elvis in a purple jacket, aviator sunglasses and a black pompadour wig while his husband donned the famous baseball outfit John wore at his 1975 Dodgers Stadium shows.

Keeping in the theme of the song, the boys wore cute crocodile costumes to pop up behind him in the performance as the family were surrounded by spooky Halloween decorations including skeletons, pumpkins and ghosts.

John captioned the clip: "Crocodile Rockin’ is something shocking… Happy Halloween!"

As well as inspiring his husband, John's bold wardrobe has also been drawn upon for a new Barbie doll made in his honour.

The limited-edition collectable released by Mattel this week sees a Barbie sporting a bomber jacket with 'Elton' emblazoned on it along with rainbow platform boots, a purple bowler hat, flares and a pair of his iconic ornate specs.

The father-of-two said of the doll: "Barbie is an icon in her own right, so having her pay tribute to my work and personal style is a real honour.

"I hope that she inspires fans everywhere to fearlessly pursue their own dreams and limitless potential."
