Elton John sings praises of Belfast rappers KNEECAP for "power" in their music
Elton John has shared his love for Belfast rappers KNEECAP as they appear on his radio show.
The rap trio Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí joined the award-winning singer on his Rocket Hour radio show for Apple Music.
Airing on Saturday, the interview includes Elton revealing himself to be a KNEECAP fan - saying he hopes to be able to attend one of their upcoming tour dates.

KNEECAP took to social media on Friday to share a clip from the radio show captioned: "Well well a chairde Gael! We're joining Elton John on his RocketHour radio show tomorrow (Saturday) on AppleMusic (5pm BST)".
In the clip, Elton said: "I find that your music tackles controversial subjects and you say that unless we make a topic of it and unless we make fun of it, it's never going to get any better.
"I think you are very brave to do that, very brave to speak out and you come from a humourous place and it just makes me happy."

Elton continued: "You wouldn't think an old softie like me would be interested in KNEECAP but I am because the energy, the music, the power - not many people have that power and I wish you so much luck on your tour.
"I'll try come track you down. Give you a big hug and we'll have a great time but I think you're amazing."
On Friday, KNEECAP also announced they had released a limited number of extra standing tickets for their SSE Arena show on December 21, 2024.
