Elvis Presley's private jet is up for auction - red velvet seats and all

Who wouldn’t want to fly around the world in the same plane that was once owned by the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley?

Well, now’s your chance. The 1962 Lockheed Jetstar that once resided in the King’s hangar is up for auction. The folks over at GWS Auctions are facilitating the sale of the legendary plane. It is expected to fetch between $2 million and $3.5 million.

According to the auction listing, Elvis helped to design the interior of the jet, which includes copious amounts of red velvet and wood panelling.
