A magical moonlit meander is coming to Loch Lomond this weekend offering plenty of family fun.

The RSPB Loch Lomond Nature Reserve in Gartocharn is offering guests the chance to experience the reserve "like never before" with a fun event. From November 29 to December 1, you can design your own recycled glass lantern and embark on a candlelit trail.

The team said: "Keep an eye (and ear) out for nocturnal creatures, then warm up with a complimentary hot chocolate by the fire. Perfect for all ages—just remember to bundle up, wear sturdy footwear, and bring a torch. Booking is essential, so grab your spot before it lights out."

Along they way guests can look and listen out for creatures that only come out after dark, before enjoying a complimentary hot chocolate around the fire.

They added that the event is suitable for adults and children but that you should remember to wrap up warm, wear study footwear and bring a torch.
