Emergency services continue to search for missing paddleboarder on fifth day

Emergency services across north and west Cumbria are continuing their serach for a missing paddleboarder.

The man was last seen on Ullswater on Sunday afternoon paddleboarding before he went missing.

Cumbria Police, Mountain Rescue teams, Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service and the coastguard have all been out searching for the missing man.

Cumbria Police have informed us that there is no update on the rescue mission as of yet. On Thursday August 11, a spokesperson said: "Yesterday’s search was stopped at 5pm and the searches resumed this morning."

The emergency services are continuing to search for the missing man.
