Emergency services race to Glasgow Drumchapel road after pedestrian struck by vehicle

Officers have closed a busy road near Drumchapel after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

Emergency services raced to Duntreath Avenue at around 2pm on Friday, September 13, following reports of a crash.

It is understood that the incident involved a pedestrian and a vehicle. It is currently unclear the nature of the person's injuries.

Emergency services are at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2pm on Friday, 13 September, 2024, officers were called to a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in Duntreath Avenue, Knightswood.

"Emergency services are at the scene."
