Emergency services shut off South Cheshire road after smash leaves 'casualty trapped'
Firefighters freed a casualty after a smash left them trapped in their vehicle. Emergency services were scrambled to Scholar Green where they found a 'single-vehicle' smash.
And Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service say the collision, which occurred just before 3.30pm yesterday (September 20), left one person trapped. Meanwhile Station Road was shut off as police, firefighters and paramedics dealt with the incident.
The fire service sent one engine from Crewe to the scene. By around 4.25pm and the person had been rescued.
A spokesperson said the firefighters then ensured the vehicle was safe for recovery. No further details on the collision have been released.
