Emergency Workers Contain Large Grass Fire in Nebraska

A large grass fire erupted along the Interstate 80 near Gothenburg, Nebraska, disrupting traffic as first responders worked to control it on Thursday, March 4.

This video, uploaded by the Nebraska State Patrol, shows smoke plumes wafting into the sky as the blaze moves quickly through a field next to the highway.

Eastbound lanes of the highway were closed for about an hour, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
