We didn't think there were many things kept as tightly under wraps as the secrets of Game of Thrones, but it turns out we were wrong.

According to Emilia Clarke – who's set to star alongside Alden Ehrenreich in the upcoming Han Solo movie – the latest Star Wars spin-off is shrouded in so much secrecy that it's 'scary'.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Daily News, Emilia addressed the "crazy" lengths to which the Game of Thrones team go to ensure that nothing is leaked about a season before it begins.

"No-one knows anything. No-one is told anything. It's all crazy," she said. "It's a secret from the cast. We generally can't be trusted. They pretty much have told us so."

Sounds intense, right? Well, apparently that's nothing compared to Disney's level of security.

When asked if she could reveal anything about the as-yet untitled Han Solo film, Emilia gave absolutely nothing away. Dammit, Khaleesi.

"I genuinely can't tell you anything other than Alden is magnificent, and it's a delight to do something on that level with really cool actors and nice people," she said.

"But it's even scarier talking about that than Game of Thrones."

Emilia's casting in the young Han Solo film was announced last year, but details as to what she'll get up to when she swaps dragons for Wookiees are incredibly thin on the ground.

For now, Lucasfilm is keeping tight-lipped on which spacey type Emilia will be playing, only describing her character as one of "a dynamic cast of characters that Han and Chewie will encounter on their adventures".

You'll be able to uncover at least some secrets when Emilia returns as Daenerys Targaryen in the 'mindblowing' penultimate season of Game of Thrones this July on HBO and Sky Atlantic.
