I’m A Celebrity star Emily Atack has joked that she has ruined Jamie Redknapp’s life after revealing her crush on him.

The Inbetweeners star, who finished second on the ITV jungle reality show, struck up a close bond with Harry Redknapp, confessing that she fancied his 45-year-old son Jamie.

Atack, 28, left viewers in stitches as she told Harry that she would be a “good daughter-in-law” and urged the Sky Sports pundit to “call her” when she was back home .

Atack has revealed that the ex-Liverpool footballer has not been in touch with her since flying home from Down Under.

Speaking on Loose Women she said: “Oh poor Jamie. I’m not even going out with him yet and I’ve already ruined his life. YET. Jamie, I’m so sorry, if you’re watching this, you poor thing.

“I met him once. He actually asked me for a photo a few years ago because he’s an Inbetweeners fan. So yeah, we’ll see.”

Atack added that she was “single and happy” for the time being, although she quipped that Jamie could “call her over Christmas”.

But Redknapp recently quashed any hopes of a festive romance after branding Atack a "very nice girl" before adding, "let's leave it at that" .

Asked what was more likely, Liverpool winning the Champions League or him taking Atack on a date, Redknapp was keen to shut any rumours down.

“What’s more likely did you say? Ah Deano come on. Leave it out,” he told Dean Saunders on talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil Breakfast show.

“Listen, she’s a very nice girl isn’t she. Let’s leave it at that.”

Will Jamie Redknapp 'take Emily Atack out for dinner...'?

Reflecting on her jungle experience, Atack confessed that she was the “happiest she has ever been” when she was stripped of her luxuries and banned from contact with the outside world.

Atack said: “I was stripped of all of these things and I was the happiest I’ve ever been. You don’t have any of the stresses of everyday life. You just have to worry about keeping a fire going and if people are OK in themselves. We were having conversations, no-one was looking at their phones.

“It’s been the biggest blessing. If you ever get a chance to just plonk yourself out of the world for a bit – do it! It’s so amazing. I thought I’d miss my phone, I thought I’d miss all these things... I didn’t.”

During her time in camp, Atack entertained her new friends and fans back home with her impressions of famous stars.

And she turned her hand to taking off Loose Women’s own Ruth Langsford at the top of the show when they crossed live to This Morning.

Langford and husband Eamonn Holmes couldn’t contain their laughter as Atack, sporting a blonde wig, pretended to be the ITV show’s host for the link.

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30pm on ITV.
