Emily Atack’s mother Kate Robbins has opened up on missing her daughter during her stint on I’m A Celebrity.

Ms Robbins, mother to the Inbetweeners star and actress, told how it has been “agony” waiting at a hotel for her daughter to leave the jungle.

Showing their support for the star, one fan wrote to her on social media: “Have to say @KateRobbins I'm potty about your Emily Totally herself and my hero for ACTUALLY picking up those Huntsman It's a great year for lovely campers. Hope you're loving it up the Versarchee x” [sic]

Responding to the message, Robbins posted: “Thank you! It’s an emotional, bumpy ride for all the families of the jungle ‘inmates’ ....and it’s agony here at the Hotel xx”

Fans appeared to show their support encouraging Robbins to power through her “very own bush tucker trial.”

One user wrote: “Mate ..your very own #bushtuckertrial is deciding which cocktail to try today. Take it easy. I'm really proud of you.”

Whilst other users praised her on raising a “kind” human being.

Another posted: “Cannot imagine just how proud you must feel. Emily is all the decency, kindness and warmth anyone could be want in their child and a human being. Winner.”

A third added: “We love Emily!”

The sweet tribute comes after fans were left in stitches following a revelation from Atack about having a crush on fellow camp-mate Harry Redknapp’s son, Jamie, during Tuesday night’s show.

Atack, 28, told the 71-year-old football manager how she is open to the potential romance after quizzing him on whether Jamie is single.

She told Redknapp: “Ooh imagine, Emily Redknapp, I would make a really good daughter in law.”

Father to the 45-year-old retired footballer, who recently called time on his relationship with wife Louise, appeared to agree Atack should pursue his son.

He said: “You would be fantastic there is no doubt about that Emily.”
