Emily Atack dropped a lamb live on-air while she was presenting This Morning with former I’m a Celebrity… colleague, John Barrowman.

Emily and John stood in for the show’s usual end-of-the-week presenters, Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

To celebrate the Easter holidays, the presenters welcomed little lambs Bubble and Squeak to the set and fed them.

Thrilled, Emily said: “I’ve always wanted to pick up a lamb!”

Proving the old showbiz saying, ‘Never work with children or animals’ correct, the lamb squirmed so much in her hands, that Emily accidentally dropped it, saying, “Oh my God! I’m so sorry! I just dropped a lamb on television!”

The lamb was fine, but it wasn’t until later that the presenters saw that it had left a mark on Emily’s dress.

A few minutes later, John was seen grabbing a wet wipe and rubbing the hem of Emily’s pretty bright pink and red patterned outfit as they giggled.

Emily later asked viewers: “Have you got any tips on how to get lamb poo out of a dress?”

John addedd: “She’s got lamb poo on her dress and I’ve got lamb wee on my leg.”

Emily sniffed her hands, and held them under John’ nose for a second opinion, saying: “It stinks!”

Emily Atack and John Barrowman are covering This Morning presenting duties, as Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby have each gone away for Easter.

Emily said: “I am absolutely over the moon to be joining This Morning with my best mate John Barrowman over Easter.

“It’s a dream come true to be presenting one of my favourite shows. I look forward to being on the iconic sofa.

“We’re going to have so much fun.”
