Emily Atack has lashed out at cruel trolls who called her “fat,” instructing them to “go f*** themselves”.

The I’m A Celebrity runner-up slammed social media users who criticised her appearance on the BRITs red carpet, where she was pictured in a long one-shoulder white dress with a thigh-high split.

But Atack, who was supported by her fans online, had the perfect advice for anybody wishing to send her cruel taunts as she sent a scathing tweet during the ceremony.

The actress wrote: “To all the lovely comments lots of you say to me, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

“To those who continue to call me fat… have a wonderful evening, and then go and f*** yourself. All the best. X.”

Atack has previously spoken out on body-shamers, becoming a particularly vocal critic after she came out of the Australian jungle last December.

After leaving the ITV show, having narrowly missed out on the crown to Harry Redknapp , Atack announced that she was no longer going to use any photo-editing apps on her social media posts .

Sharing a bikini snap, Atack captioned the picture: “Morning mud crabs just catching up on everything. I am back in London! Can’t believe the amount of articles & comments about my bod. Some good, some bad.

“I will never EVER use a Slimming App ever again. We are all different shapes & sizes. We are all unique. Some have rock hard abs, some have a bit of Jam Roly-poly, and it’s all ok!!!”

Atack also recently recalled the time she was body-shamed in a public restaurant as she tucked into a burger.

The actress told her Twitter followers that she was “shocked” when she was interrupted during a meal at a restaurant by a man who told her to “stop” eating as “starvation suits [her].”

“Some bloke just said to me in a restaurant whilst I was eating my dinner… ‘No, stop. Starvation suits you,’” she wrote on Twitter, adding: “What in the…?!”

“I would throw my burg at you but that would be a massive waste love," she joked.
