Yahoo News Emily Ratajkowski announces she's pregnant
A baby is on the way for fashion industry favourite Emily Ratajkowski.
The model and soon-to-be author is expecting a baby with her actor and producer husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard. Ratajkowski broke the news with a stunning video revealing her burgeoning baby bump on Instagram. It will be the first child for both Ratajkowski and Bear-McClard.
The clip, which was directed by Ratajkowski's friend and Girls creator Lena Dunham, features the model in her home—posing nude, snacking, gazing in the mirror, and even playing with her puppy—as she recites a message for her unborn child.
"I dreamed of you for the first time the other night," she says. "We are wondering who you will be."
In the caption, Ratajkowski thanked Dunham for creatively collaborating with her for the announcement reveal and expressed her excitement on entering a new chapter as a mother-to-be.
"Thank you to my brilliant and very generous friend @lenadunham for her vision and commitment to directing this. I’m so grateful," wrote Ratajkowski. "And thank you to my other wonderful friend @eccopn for his music and to @dschneids for her editing! You all made this the most special. Written and filmed by me. Shot at home."
Ratajkowski married Bear-McClard in a surprise ceremony in New York City back in 2018. The model confirmed the news with a black-and-white Instagram post of the two embracing with the caption, "💍ny💍."
