Emily Ratajkowski only announced her pregnancy this week, and already she's demonstrated her unique take on maternity styling.

Yesterday, the model and mother-to-be was spotted out in New York City wearing a low-key look, including an unbuttoned dress shirt that revealed her burgeoning baby bump, low-rise jeans, a beige overcoat, and brown leather knee-high boots. Ratajkowski wore her hair in a middle-parted top knot and accessorised her outfit with chunky gold jewellery and cat-eye sunglasses.

The model's recent outing wasn't our first look at her maternity style, however. For a quick jaunt to SoHo earlier this week, Ratajkowski opted for a sleek, skin-baring knit maxi dress with cutouts, courtesy of Aya Muse, paired with a matching black leather bag, red leather boots, tortoise shell sunglasses by Ahlem and oversized gold bangles.

Ratajkowski broke the news that she is expecting her first child with husband Sebastian Bear-McClard on Instagram with a Lena Dunham–directed vignette coupled with commentary about her pregnancy. During the clip titled "Who Will You Be?" Ratajkowski shares footage of herself at home in the first few weeks of her pregnancy while she recites personal messages to her unborn child.

"Thank you to my brilliant and very generous friend @lenadunham for her vision and commitment to directing this. I’m so grateful," wrote Ratajkowski in the caption alongside the post. "And thank you to my other wonderful friend @eccopn for his music and to @dschneids for her editing! You all made this the most special. Written and filmed by me. Shot at home."
