Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is revving up its recruitment efforts, with a UK roadshow taking place over the next few weeks. The roadshow will be in Belfast over a two-day period, in what the airline says it to meet a "strong surge" in customer demand.

The airline will also be holding the pilot recruitment roadshows to recruit experienced commercial pilots in London and Manchester. The Northern Ireland based roadshow will be held on February 3 and February 5 in Belfast's Clayton Hotel. It is for experienced pilots who are keen to join Emirates for roles in four programmes: Direct Entry Captains, Accelerated Command, First Officers Type Rated and Non-Type Rated.

Prior registration is not required, and pilots are only required to attend one of the sessions. At the session, prospective Emirates pilots can find out more about the airline’s recruitment process, available opportunities, training programmes, expected career trajectory, and benefits, as well as speak to pilots currently flying with Emirates.

Jabr Al-Azeeby, Deputy Vice President for the UK Emirates’ Country Manager, said: "Emirates pilots fly one of the world’s youngest and most modern all wide-body fleet to over 148 destinations across the globe. They will have the opportunity to undergo robust in-house training at Emirates’ cutting-edge training facility and will also be based in the vibrant city of Dubai.

"We look forward to having more pilots from London, Manchester and Belfast come onboard our airline, as we ramp up our operations globally."

In 2025, Emirates will start receiving its Boeing 777Xs, of which the airline has 205 on order. Pilots also relish the excitement and adventure of flying one of the most comprehensive global route networks that spans six continents. Emirates offers a range of benefits for pilots and their families, including competitive tax-free salary, 42 days of annual leave, a generous allowance for accommodation and education, full medical benefits, discounted travel benefits for the wider family and friends, and more.
