Emirates showcases stunning new business class design – but not everyone's impressed
An Emirates advert left the public in awe with its new 'bombshell' lounge reveal.
The recent TikTok video gave viewers a glimpse into the airline's revamped seating arrangements, particularly showcasing the first class section. The clip, which quickly amassed tens of thousands of likes, featured wide, cream-coloured chairs and personal mini bars.
However, it wasn't just the aesthetics that caught people's attention; a key element seemed to be missing, leaving frequent flyers and TikTok users baffled. Some dismissed the plane's upgrade as "disappointing" while others referred to the surprising new feature as a "bombshell." Most were confused by the omitted part of the plane and voiced their observations.

Emirates used a Love Island-style commentary in the video, announcing a new "bombshell" entering the villa, to present its updated first class zone. Yet, the announcement left some scratching their heads.
One user questioned: "Why no doors Emirates? I mean we all know Qatar has them, but so many other airlines have joined in, Cathay, Turkish, Aeroflot, BA, Etihad, even China Eastern and Air China have them!" Another commented on the need for more privacy, saying: "Well it needs more privacy."
A third expressed frustration: "Should have a closed door like other airlines." The decision to stick with a traditional curtain over installing new doors was a letdown for some. One person remarked: "So is this also the product that will be installed on the new a350? Why are there no doors? Disappointing!"
Despite the criticisms, there were those who commended the seating design and the Emirates staff quality. A satisfied user said: "Love it. Also the quality of the staff is amazing."
The new seating arrangement divided opinion among regular travellers, but there have been calls for the social media whizz behind the post to get a "raise" for their work in revealing the "bombshell" seats.
