Emma McVey 'bump-shamed' as fans accuse her of 'not eating' at six months pregnant

This summer, Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle excitedly announced that he is expecting his first baby with girlfriend Emma McVey early next year.

Together, the pair have been documenting Emma’s pregnancy on social media, however, the brunette beauty has now fallen victim to cruel trolls who have criticised her small baby bump.

Accusing the star of “not eating enough”, the couple’s followers left dozens of negative comments on Gaz’s latest photo after Emma revealed that she is approaching the six month mark.

Sharing a photo of himself kissing Emma’s baby bump, Gaz wrote: “These weeks are flying by #WorldsSmallestBump”, with a host of mean comments soon flooding in.

One follower wrote: “For six months pregnant that’s seriously unhealthy- weight needs to be gained here.”

Others added: “It is unhealthy because the baby can be born premature and will be a tiny weight.”

“Surely that’s a bit abnormal? Too much exercise when your body is trying to create another human. Genuinely thought she was lying to be honest.”

“Six months? Jesus how is there no bump at six months? Surely they would be worried baby isn’t measuring the right size?”

Emma’s bump came under fire earlier this week too, with the star receiving negative comments on her own photo of Gaz resting on her stomach, listening to their unborn son move.

She captioned the photo with: “He makes an appearance at night time – how is it six months next week already?! We can’t wait to meet you.”

Emma isn’t the only public figure to be “bump-shamed” this week, with Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, receiving the same negative comments yesterday after she made her first public appearance since news of her third pregnancy broke.

The Duchess is thought to be less than 12 weeks into her pregnancy but critics flocked to social media to slam her trim figure after images appeared online.
