Angelica Bell, who is no stranger to The One Show sofa, will take over hosting duties first as she appears on the show for three weeks, starting on Monday 29 April. Then the “baton” will be passed to Angela Scanlon, who has acted as a stand-in for Jones on the early evening talk show on a number of occasions since 2016, for 14 days. In last night’s episode, Jones got emotional when thinking about leaving the show for several months.
