Yahoo News Emmerdale to air five flashforward scenes in new twist

Emmerdale has confirmed plans to air special flashforward scenes on New Year's Eve.
The ITV soap will give fans an exciting glimpse at the future, just as 2024 draws to a close.
Show bosses recently revealed that a half-hour edition will be broadcast on New Year's Eve this year, airing from 7.45pm.
It's an episode that viewers won't want to miss, as among the regular drama from the village, five flashforward scenes will air.

These will briefly jump to significant points in the future, leaving fans to guess over what the scenes mean and how they'll affect the fates of some fan favourite characters.
Further details are being kept under wraps for now, but the episode will air as part of a busy Christmas and New Year period for the show.
Emmerdale chiefs have confirmed that Home Farm will take centre stage at Christmas this year, as Will Taylor's plans for revenge against Kim Tate come to a head.
Will has been plotting with back-up from Kim's financial advisor Peter and a mysterious third party – are they about to triumph or could the tables turn?
