Emmerdale airs big decision over iconic TV family
Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Belle, Cain, and Sam Dingle have come together for a major decision about their family in Emmerdale.
The soap's send-off for Zak Dingle continued in Friday's (October 18) episode, after a poignant moment where Belle buried her mum Lisa Dingle's ashes with Zak.
This special three-hander episode revolved around Belle, Cain, and Sam trying to figure out how the Dingle family would move on following the death of their patriarch.
Throughout Friday's instalment, Cain resisted having to take over as "the new head of the Dingle family".

The trio debated back and forth who was the rightful "head of the family", as they reflected on some of the Dingles' most memorable moments.
Offering a toast to Zak, Cain told his siblings: "To Zak Dingle, he wasn't perfect, but he was our dad, and in my book, that's even better."
The following morning, the siblings visited Zak and Lisa's makeshift grave where Sam put Zak's iconic cap on Cain's head.
Cain suggested that instead of anyone becoming "head of the family", all three of them could share the responsibility of leading the Dingles together, thus ushering in a whole new era for Emmerdale.
"There was only one man who could take all that [responsibility] on his shoulders," Cain explained, with Belle agreeing: "It sounds perfect to me."
Sam chimed in: "Yeah, me and all."
Cain joked that he would be keeping Zak's cap before the episode ended on a poignant note with the three Dingles deciding to say "morning" instead of "goodbye" to Zak.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
