Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Emmerdale has revealed the outcome of last night's shocking twist between Ross Barton and Charity Dingle.

During last night's episode, Ross tried to kiss Charity after he hinted he'd like to move in with her and Moses.

Ross moved in for a kiss but Charity shoved him away, telling him firmly a romantic reunion was "not going to happen".

However, Ross tried to insist there was still something between them, while Charity played it off as her only being concerned for him on behalf of Moses.

Tonight (Tuesday, November 5) saw Ross try to rub things in Mack's face by telling him he had a "heart to heart" with Charity last night and there's still something between them.

When Mack said Moses was all Charity and Ross had between them, Ross said there were "fireworks".

Later, Mack confronted Charity about what happened with Ross, with Charity admitting Ross had kissed her.

Charity tried to reassure Mack, telling him she'd made it clear to Ross there was nothing between them. However, Mack was still furious and jealous, saying Charity should make it more clear to Ross that she doesn't want anything to do with him.

A furious Mack then stormed out, saying he wanted to "kill" Ross.

Charity later saw Ross and told him she'd come clean about the kiss to Mack. Charity said she was the only ally Ross had in the village and he shouldn't push her away.

She then warned Ross to stay away from the bonfire tonight as Mack would kill him if he saw him.

As Ross walked away, he was followed by one of Jade's heavies who brought him to her before attacking him and holding him over a bridge.

Jade then made Ross agree to a rematch with Billy by threatening Charity and Moses.

Later, Billy was shocked to come home and find Jade having a glass of wine with Dawn.

When Dawn left, Jade threatened Billy's family, forcing him to also agree to the rematch with Ross.

Billy then went to see Ross to ask him why he agreed to the rematch, with Ross saying he had no idea what Jade was capable of and they were best doing what she said.

After fighting earlier, Mack and Charity reunited at the end, agreeing that their relationship was too strong for Ross to interfere.

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
