The plot thickens for Emmerdale's Harriet Finch and her rocky relationship with her former drug-dealer husband, Will Taylor, after they kiss.

Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) was surprised when Will (Dean Andrews) turned up at the church asking for her help to find his daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley) who he is worried will overdose.

She reluctantly goes with him and they find a very emotional Dawn at the cricket pavilion in possession of drugs, but thankfully she hadn't taken them, fearful she would lose her son for good if she did.

Once Harriet realised Dawn hadn't succumbed to her addiction, she decided to leave, prompting a row between her and Will, who was shocked that Harriet could just walk away.

Later, Will visits Harriet again and admits that he didn't really think his role in dealing drugs was a big deal since he never actually sold any himself, and it was only seeing his daughter in such a bad way that has made him realise just how terrible it is.

Harriet isn't really impressed by his attempt at an apology, but they end up kissing.

Viewers were (understandably) baffled by the development in their relationship, considering he tried to crush her with a coffin a few weeks ago as revenge for sending him to prison when she was an undercover policewoman.

Emmerdale currently airs weekdays at 7pm, with an extra episode at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays on ITV.
