Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh has revealed her future plans on the soap - and fans need not worry as she's not planning on going anywhere anytime soon.
Her character Tracy Metcalfe is currently having her dark past come back to haunt her as handyman Phil tries to blackmail her after recognising her from when she was a prostitute.
But while the drama is amping-up for her character, Amy has thankfully revealed that she'll be on the soap for a good while yet.
"It might sound like a cliché, but my dream was always this," she told the Daily Express.
"It would be amazing to do one-off dramas and have the career of Sarah Lancashire or Suranne Jones, but equally I love how fast it is in soaps and how your character is developing all the time and I love the stability.
Recalling her original two-month stint on the soap back in 2014, Amy added: "After my first two months in Emmerdale, I went back to waitressing and I did a lot of promotional work, handing out leaflets – I remember once standing in London's Liverpool Street station handing out Compeed plasters!"
"So right now I'm not tempted to see what's out there, because I know how tough it is. I know how lucky I am. Everything comes to an end with every other acting job and I feel so privileged that I don't have that worry or fear."
She added: "I feel very grateful for my job at Emmerdale and I love it here; I firmly believe that you appreciate things more if they don't come to you easily."
So there we have it. Tracy Metcalfe will be around for a while yet.
