Yahoo News Emmerdale's Fiona Wade confirms secret romance
Emmerdale actress Fiona Wade has revealed she's secretly dating someone, whom she describes as a "wonderful guy".
The star, who appears on the ITV soap as Priya Sharma, opened up about her love life and plans for the future in a new interview, explaining she's dating someone in the entertainment industry.
"I'm with someone right now," Fiona told the Daily Express. "He's an actor and writer based in London.
"It's fairly new, we've been together since last year and he's a very wonderful guy, but I've kept it quiet. I just wanted time to get to know him – he's very special."
Her on-screen character is certainly having a turbulent life at the moment, bringing up daughter Amba on her own as she tries to balance her demanding job.
However, Fiona herself said that she wants to start a family herself in the not too distant future, explaining: "I would definitely like a family of my own one day."
"I like children and I've got lots of nieces and nephews who are gorgeous. It's something I haven't thought about massively – I've been very career-orientated so far – but maybe I should!
"The little girl who plays Amba is adorable. She's so good. She comes into work with a big smile and she knows what to do – she's amazing. Hopefully I'll be blessed myself one day."
