Yahoo News Emmerdale's Fiona Wade confirms engagement to former co-star Simon Cotton
Emmerdale's Priya Sharma's romantic life hasn't been free from turmoil but the actress who plays her is having a much happier time by the looks of things.
Fiona Wade revealed on Twitter and Instagram that her former co-star Simon Cotton proposed to her a couple of days ago, and that she said yes.

"Two days ago this beautiful man asked me to be his wife," she said.
"There has never been an easier answer to a question..Yes!
"Feel so incredibly blessed Wishing you all the happiest 2019 and & so much love for the year ahead!"
Simon starred on Emmerdale as Farm Estate client Hugh Bryant back in 2017.
Fiona and Simon had previously confirmed their relationship last summer when she posted a loved up picture of them together accompanied with a heart emoji.
She had previously teased that she was "with someone" describing him only as "an actor and writer based in London".
While it's a bit rude to speculate about people having kids, Fiona has herself previously revealed plans to have a larger family.
"I like children and I've got lots of nieces and nephews who are gorgeous," she said at the time.
"It's something I haven't thought about massively – I've been very career-orientated so far – but maybe I should!
Emmerdale continues on ITV on weeknights at 7pm, with an extra episode on Thursday nights.
