Emmerdale confirms Ross Barton's future
Emmerdale spoilers follow from Monday's episode (December 9), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX but hasn't yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale has revealed Ross Barton's fate after Charity Dingle, Marlon Dingle and Caleb Miligan teamed up to get rid of him.
The bad boy triumphed over his enemies in Monday's episode, revealing that he was going nowhere despite their best efforts.
Ross has been making enemies since his return to the village and seemed to have pushed the Dingle and Miligan families too far last week.
Charity was furious over Ross violently attacking her husband Mackenzie Boyd, while Marlon was unhappy over his daughter April finding out the truth about her mum's death thanks to Ross.

As a new week dawned, Marlon's resentment grew further when he discovered the full story about April being kidnapped by dangerous Jade, who has connections to Ross.
Caleb also disapproved of his daughter Steph's decision to start a casual fling with Ross.
Monday's episode saw Caleb turn ruthless by recruiting Jai Sharma to help set Ross up for a crime.
Knowing that Ross has been desperate for some quick cash, Jai tipped him off with details of how to commit an easy robbery at Caleb's warehouse.

Jai revealed that £20,000 would be stashed in the safe, the CCTV would be turned off and the staff would all be away on a team-building day.
In reality, the cameras would be running as normal and Ross's enemies hoped to use the footage to either blackmail him into leaving the village or report him to the police.
The stage seemed set for Ross to finally be outsmarted, but when Charity, Marlon and Caleb eagerly gathered at The Woolpack to check the CCTV footage on a laptop, they discovered that he'd placed a playful message for them to spot: "Nice try idiots."
Popping up at the pub to gloat, Ross told the trio: "Better luck next time, eh? As if I was going to fall for a sting like that. Who leaves £20,000 in a safe and brags about it?"

Revealing that he'd gone further to punish Caleb, Ross added: "By the way, I think you might be missing one of your vans. I seen it down the top lane but it looks like it was missing a few boxes.
"My guess is that some chancer's taken it to pay off his debts. But without any hard evidence, it's just speculation, innit?"
Will Ross's enemies give up or make another attempt to bring him down?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
