Yahoo News Emmerdale confirms Steph’s new love interest amid Caleb and Jai update

Steph Miligan will find a new love interest in Emmerdale as Caleb and Jai's story continues.
Ruby and Caleb's estranged daughter Steph is arriving in Emmerdale with her grandfather Anthony Fox, after being named the sole recipient of her late grandmother Helen's estate.
Caleb recently fell out with wife Ruby when she discovered he'd blackmailed her dying mother for £100,000 in exchange for a deathbed reconciliation with Ruby.
In scenes airing next week, Caleb and Ruby will be shocked to spot their daughter leaving the B&B with potential new love interest Ross Barton.

Caleb peppers his daughter with questions about Ross, before trying to keep her on his side by making her a business partner at the Depot.
His recent financial dispute with Jai upsets Steph enough that Caleb offers his rival a job to appease her. Jai initially turns down the offer, before Laurel convinces him to swallow his pride and accept Caleb's job.
Jai arrives at the Depot the next day to agree to Caleb's terms, only to find out that Steph is going to be his new boss. Meanwhile, Ross turns up to ask Caleb for work.
Caleb is keen to keep the bad boy away from his daughter, so he rejects Ross and orders him to stay away from Steph.
Later, Jai comes up with a plan to get even with Caleb. He meets up in secret with Ross with an offer to team up to steal some of Caleb's stock.

Ross readily agrees to the plot, with Jai tipping him off the following day about some valuable stock due to arrive at the Depot.
Jai distracts Kerry Wyatt while Ross sneaks in to steal the stock. Ross is about to slip away with the valuable goods, but he's shocked to find Steph waiting for him.
Steph demands to know what Ross is up to, but will he come clean?
These scenes will air next week.
