While wincing, Cat asked: "Does he die?" Without much hesitation at all, Sharon bluntly replied: "Yeah." As Ben shrieked: "Ohh."
Sharon chimed in to confirm further details: "On Thursday," as Ben interjected: "I thought you might have teased that bit," amid the hosts both seemingly completely dumbfounded by her on-air revelation.
Defending her decision to broadcast Anthony's death on Thursday's episode, the soap expert told the hosts: "Well the tease is, what happens? Who kills him?"
Continuing to shed further light on the situation, Sharon also stated: "And more suspects will enter the frame tonight, in fact, I think the papers..."
Sharon was stopped in her tracks as a picture of Anthony on the floor appeared on the screen alongside two possible culprits, Sharon blurted: "Well that's what happened on Monday, he got whacked with a candlestick, he's had a week of it."
She then turned to producers to ask for a "split screen" of all the possible suspects to be shown on screen.
Anthony who is played by actor Nicholas Day has recently been exposed as one of Emmerdale's most evil characters and his terrifying past is only just surfacing.
He is the father of Ruby Fox-Miligan's (played by Beth Cordingly) and is responsible for sexually abusing her as a youngster. It was evident when Anthony landed that he was about to shake things up revealing that Caleb Milligan was not Steph's father.
There is now seven possible suspects in the frame for his murder, they include Nicola King and Laurel Thomas, Cain and Chas Dingle, Aaron Dingle, Caleb Milligan and Ruby Milligan.
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1, from 10am.
