Next week on 'Emmerdale': Evil Meena snatches little Theo, plus poor April faces fresh torment (spoilers)

April is left terrified by her bullies

April’s sense of despair over the trolling she’s being subjected to is escalating but Marlon hasn’t noticed. The chef is distracted by a bad review the pub has received, and there’s also the bill for April’s birthday party, which he can’t afford. April, meanwhile, is opening her cards, only to find that one of them is typed and from her tormentor.

She then decides to retaliate online but comes to regret her rash move when she then starts to receive countless abusive messages.

By the end of the week, April is terrified that the troll is about to turn up on her doorstep, while Marlon will be seen confiding in Paddy about the extent of his financial woes.

Leyla is pregnant

Liam tells Leyla that he wouldn’t be able to cope with any surprises at this present time, which is kind of unfortunate as she’s secretly pregnant with his baby.

Doubting that he’ll see this as good news, Leyla decides to keep quiet. But Jacob clocks that something is wrong and tells Priya that he’s worried about Leyla. After calling round, Leyla puts Priya in the picture but makes a heartfelt plea: she mustn’t tell Liam as a bombshell such as this can’t be dropped in his world while he’s still grieving. The way Leyla sees it, this pregnancy could well end her and her husband’s marriage.

Meena snatches young Theo?

As you’d expect, Meena is seething about the friendship between David and Victoria. And when Meena gets mad, bad things start to happen. So, what we’ll witness is Victoria being left with a chilling surprise while she takes care of her son Harry and David’s little boy Theo.

The upcoming drama will find Vic briefly heading upstairs to check on Harry – at which point, Meena creeps in through the back door and looms over Theo. When Victoria returns downstairs, she’s horrified to find Theo and the baby gate and back door open. With no sign of him, Victoria raises the alarm and a desperate search is started. But will Meena get what she wants after sparking major panic?

Bernice plays matchmaker

When she notices a happy moment between Nicola and Jimmy, we’ll see Bernice wondering if there’s still a spark of love and affection between the Kings.

After all they’ve been through, it’s a wonder they’re even on speaking terms. Yet Bernice can’t help but form a plan to get Jimmy and Nicola back together. The big question: can her reconciliation scheme work?

Noah has big news for Sarah

Sarah is feeling fed up because the search for her donor is still failing to bear any fruit. But Noah has an admission for her: he thinks he’s found her family.

It’s news that immediately puts a smile on Sarah’s face, but Noah is quick to offer a word of caution. But since when did anyone listen to sound advice on a soap? Expect Sarah to realise very soon that she’s in too deep, while Noah is left with deep unease about her actions.
