Emmerdale fans 'work out' identity of Caleb Milligan's mystery caller - and they know Ruby
Emmerdale enthusiasts reckon they've sussed out who Caleb Milligan, played by actor Will Ash, was having a secret phone call with during Monday night's episode.
In the soap's latest gripping instalment, Moira (played by Natalie J Robb) found herself at a crossroads as she pondered over a major life choice regarding her tumour, causing Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) to spiral into distress.
Medical experts laid it out for the farmer: either embrace surgery now or bank on meds to make a difference over time. While Cain was all for the operation, Moira stood her ground, refusing surgery at this stage.
And in a jaw-dropping twist that left everyone shaken, Moira shockingly mistook her hubby Cain for her son Adam by the episode's end, sparking fears that her health might be deteriorating faster than anyone realised.
Meanwhile, Ruby Milligan (Beth Cordingly) felt sidelined as her other half Caleb seemed consumed by his work calls. But viewers were thrown when Caleb ended the episode with a chilling promise to the unknown caller, reports the Express.

Caleb exploded down the line: "Will you stop calling?" He fiercely vowed to shield Ruby, stating: "I'll protect Ruby from you with everything that I have for, are you listening to me?"
He continued: "You're a liar," before spitting out a menacing warning: "Alright tomorrow, I will be there if only to put you six feet under myself."
The fan base didn't waste time before diving into social media to swirl around their theories and thoughts, with a swarm of them betting Caleb was hissing threats to none other than Ruby's mum.
"Ooh, who's that on the phone pestering Caleb...," one fan queried, while another pondered: "Who's Caleb talking to on the phone? #Emmerdale."
"Rose I think..," a third guessed, and another viewer chimed in with: "And to top it all Ruby's mum is harassing Caleb!"
"Caleb on the phone to the mother-in-law #Emmerdale," someone else agreed.
"Looks like Caleb will be chatting with Ruby's mother who's set to pop up quite soon! #Emmerdale," another speculated.
Elsewhere, Tracy Metcalfe (played by Amy Walsh) was left reeling after Nate (Jurell Carter) sent a text message out of the blue. He's adjusting to life in Shetland but urged her not to call him until he says it's okay.
Could this lead us to question whether the person behind the texts to his ex is really Nate or an imposter?
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7.30pm on ITV.
