Emmerdale exit 'sealed' for legend after 10 years as fans predict 'stalker twist'

Emmerdale fans have been left fearing for Liam Cavanagh's life after his ex-girlfriend Ella Forster (Paula Lane) appeared to have become obsessed with the GP.

In recent episodes, Liam (played by Jonny McPherson) dumped Ella to pursue a romance with Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) after the pair admitted their true feelings and sealed the deal with a kiss.

Liam broke off his relationship with Ella but has failed to explain his interest in Chas. The GP has since been sneaking around with his new girlfriend and got caught.

As fans will know, Ella has a dark past after murdering her childhood friend when she was aged just 11 and appeared to be a reformed character now she is an adult. However, during Wednesday's instalment of the ITV soap (November 27), doctor Liam looked fearful as Ella tried to check up on his every move.

Liam told surgery receptionist Ella that he needs to leave the practice for a short while, but in a bid to sabotage his plans she arranged a ‘last minute appointment’ leaving him confused.

Liam snapped back and demanded Ella called Manpreet (Rebecca Sarker), and as he walked out the surgery she followed him to see where he was going before being distracted by Brenda (Lesley Dunlop).

Later on at The Woolpack, John (Oliver Farnworth) walked in on Chas and Liam sharing a passionate kiss and warned them to tell Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) and Ella before they find out about their relationship from someone else.

Liam arrived back at the surgery but was instantly questioned by Ella who knew he is lying about where he . Deciding to check where he was and call out Liam's lie, she discovers that the 'patient' he saw is in Rome.

Following Ella's behaviour, some Emmerdale fans think a dark twist could be brewing leaving Liam in danger.

On X, one person wrote: "The psycho in Ella is coming out...#Emmerdale". A second questioned: "Why is Ella being a bunny boiler. Thought her and Liam finished ages ago. #Emmerdale."

A third exclaimed: "Ella doesn't want people to think she's a psycho... Going the right way about it #Emmerdale."

"Ella really over stepping her duties to find out what Dr love rods up to", added another followed by a series of knife emojis.

"Ella going to do another murder? #Emmerdale", questioned another one.
