Emmerdale exit ‘sealed’ for legend 17 years after first episode as fans left devastated
Emmerdale fans reckon a beloved Dales legend is about to leave after nearly 20 years.
Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) has been a regular on screens since his debut way back in 2008. And it didn’t take him long to become one of the soap’s beloved characters.
He’s also had his fair share of big storylines in the famous Dales - from affairs and his romance with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) to spending time behind bars.
And in the soap at the moment, he is currently in a relationship with newcomer John Sugden (Oliver Fainworth) who happens to be ex-Robert’s half-brother.

However, over in the village this week, things took a seriously dramatic turn for Aaron. As fans will recall, Ruby Fox-Miligan’s (Beth Cordingly) estranged father Anthony (Nicholas Day) rocked up to the Dales last year.
It was clear that a startled Ruby was hiding something about her dad - and it was later revealed that he raped her when she was a teenager, and is the real father of Steph (Georgia Jay).
This week, the truth came out about Anthony’s sick crimes. And Aaron - who was sexually abused by his own father Gordon Livesy (Gary Mavers) - went and paid Anthony a visit at the depot.
In shocking scenes and seeing red, Aaron proceeded to beat up Anthony, brutally attacking him before leaving the depot. A shaken Aaron then confessed what happened to John - who insisted they remove Anthony's body from the scene of the crime.
The pair returned to the depot where they realised Anthony was dead. With Aaron in a panic, John stepped up and said that he would sort everything. They then cleared up the mess and got rid of Anthony's body.
Now, fans are fearing it’s only a matter of time before Aaron gets sent to prison in a shock exit. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person penned: “Hope it’s not Aaron who it’s revealed that killed him, don’t want him to leave again.”
Someone else chimed in: “I know I thought the same I’ll be gutted.” A third then wrote: “Probably,” along with a crying face emoji.
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
