Emmerdale fans are so annoyed with Vanessa
Warning: The following article contains discussion of sexual assault that some readers may find upsetting.
Rhona's case against Pierce Harris took a turn for the worse in tonight's (July 26) Emmerdale, as Vanessa took to the stand to give evidence in support of her friend.
What she ended up doing was lying about Pierce confessing to the rape, before quickly retracting that statement and looking terrible in the process.
Here is that moment:

Unsurprisingly, Rhona was absolutely furious with Vanessa, and was concerned that she might have ruined everything.
Also unsurprisingly, people on Twitter thought exactly the same, expressing their frustration through face palm gifs and The Italian Job paraphrasing:
Oi you lot, stop tweeting about Vanessa lying. The court will find out! Sssshhh! #Emmerdale
