Emmerdale fans 'work out' dark twist for Cain after Moira operation

Emmerdale fans predict there may be dark times ahead for Cain after Moira's operation goes ahead.

During the past few weeks, the drama has appeared to be getting a little too much for Cain as Moira's operation approaches. With Tom still on the loose causing trouble after repeatedly abusing Belle during their marriage, Tina's return to the village, the death of Zak and Ross' recent brawl in the barn, everything appears to be getting a little much for Cain, who has been visibly struggling.

This is particularly true of Moira's brain tumour, as she is set to go for surgery tomorrow. In the latest episode, Cain appeared to be struggling to come to terms with the fact that she might die in surgery.

Moira got the whole family together, with Cain and all of their kids, at lunch as she said she wanted to make sure she spent as much time as possible with all of them before going for surgery. After, she tried to speak with Cain to ask him if he was ready to take care of everyone.

However, he responded by saying she would be fine and he marched out. Moira went to Chas to ask her to support Cain and their kids if the worst happened.

Meanwhile, Cain was seen at work looking extremely upset and stressed.

Now, fans have predicted that Cain might suffer some sort of breakdown due to the stress. @natashate1983 said: "I feel so bad for Cain and Moira. Moira worried for the kids if she deos die, and Cain does not want to accept that, considering he had just lost his dad."

@SG902110 added: "Feel like Cains going too have a breakdown". @penniless_poet wrote: "If Chas is the only one Cain will listen to then thing must be bad In fact even worse than that".

Another fan, @jennyluv__, said: "Poor Cain at the end". @RyanTheSoapking added: "A great episode of #Emmerdale tonight building up to Moira & Cain's special episode tomorrow night. Natalie J Robb & Jeff Hordley are going to be brilliant".
