Yahoo News Emmerdale fans divided over Nell Fairfax's sad news
Viewers finally learned (or did they?) what Nell Fairfax has been hiding in tonight's (July 20) Emmerdale, as she said that her daughter Rosie had died 'suddenly' while in care.
After Priya Kotecha accused Nell of 'spying' on her and Pete Barton, Nell broke down and 'revealed' that her meeting with social services was actually about Rosie's death.
As Jai Sharma comforted Nell, Nell blamed herself for what happened. "My little girl's dead and it's all my fault," she sobbed.

Unfortunately for Nell, not everyone was entirely convinced by her story – and viewers at home took to social media to question whether Rosie had actually ever been alive at all.
(Sorry, Nell, but you can't exactly blame them.)
While some fans felt genuinely sorry and 'heartbroken' for Nell, others were wary of trusting her version of events. Let the division commence.
