Emmerdale fans 'work out' who really killed Anthony Fox - and it's not Aaron Dingle
Emmerdale villain Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) has been murdered after he was exposed for his harrowing abuse towards his daughter Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly).
During Wednesday's trip to the village (January 22), Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) worked out Ruby had been sexually abused by her father Anthony. Reminding him of his own trauma, Aaron found Anthony at the depot and told him they’d be having a little chat.
In Thursday's (January 23) episode, available on on ITVX, a showdown between Anthony and Aaron ensued and it ended with deadly consequences. Aaron explained to Anthony he recognised the signs of Ruby's turmoil as he spoke about his own sexual abuse at the hands of his own father Gordon, who ended his life while in prison.

Triggered by Anthony's vile actions, Aaron became emotional but initially resisted from physical violence and demanded Anthony hands himself into the police.
Anthony suddenly feared a future in prison and changed his attitude to winding Aaron up - and it worked. Following a string of horrifying comments about Ruby, Aaron gave in and attacked Anthony before leaving the depot.
When Aaron returned home, he confessed to John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) that he had beaten Anthony and explained why he did it, adding: "I nearly killed him."
The pair returned to the depot where they realised Anthony was dead. With Aaron in a panic, John stepped up and said that he would sort everything. They then cleared up the mess and got rid of Anthony's body. However, some viewers are convinced Aaron is not the person who delivered the last fatal blow to Anthony.
When Aaron had finished beating him, Anthony was still alive and now some fans are now pointing the finger at Ruby. Taking to Facebook, one person wrote: "It was Ruby who struck the final blow not Aaron."
A second chipped in: "We didn’t see as when Aaron and John came back he was dead, but he wasn’t when Aaron left him so something must have happened in that time".
A third added: "I think it was ruby that done final blow," while another added: "She may have."
"I think Ruby when to the factory to find Steph and found her dad there beaten by Aaron either watches him died or does something to him," said another.
Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV and ITVX
