Yahoo News Emmerdale hints at shock Kim and Pete betrayal
Emmerdale has hinted at a shock betrayal with new pictures showing Kim Tate and Pete Barton looking cosy.
The pair get to know each other next week after Pete (Anthony Quinlan) kindly comes to Kim's rescue on the road.
Viewers have recently seen Kim (Claire King) strike up a friendship with Pete's partner Rhona Goskirk, but things are about to turn sour between the two ladies.
Early next week, Rhona is hurt when Kim lectures her for cheating on Pete with Nate Robinson. Fans will be left to wonder whether Kim has an ulterior motive for stirring up trouble.
Later on, Kim breaks down on the road and ends up stuck in mud.
Pete finds a way to help by pulling the car away with his tractor, leaving Kim very grateful.
The unlikely duo head back to Home Farm together, where Kim insists that Pete should stay for a drink.
Is this just a rare moment of friendliness from Kim, or does she now have her sights set on Rhona's man?
Rhona became friends with Kim a few weeks ago, when the Home Farm schemer needed help to bring her son Jamie back to the village.
Kim always insisted to Graham Foster that she genuinely likes Rhona despite her ulterior motive, but could their surprising bond be broken already?
Emmerdale currently airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with extra episodes at 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
