Emmerdale Kim Tate’s plan for Joe ‘revealed’ in revenge twist - and he needs to watch out
Emmerdale fans have ‘rumbled’ what devious plan Kim Tate has in store for Joe.
Kim’s (Claire King) had a difficult few weeks in the Dales. At Christmas, her husband Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) suffered a heart attack and died.
His death came shortly after it was revealed he was part of a plan to take her down - orchestrated by Joe (Ned Porteous) who made his shock return to the village.
In the aftermath of Will’s death, Kim was left heartbroken, meanwhile, Will’s daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley) was adamant Kim had something to do with his death - even drugging her in the hopes she would reveal something.

Fortunately, Kim managed to recover and forgave Dawn, even letting her move back into Home Farm and hiring her to help look after her empire. Joe meanwhile has been playing the doting step-grand-son, taking care of Kim.
Recently though, viewers were left shocked when Dawn and Joe started an unexpected affair. It kicked off with a kiss last week, and during Wednesday’s episode (January 22) the pair slept together.
What’s more, amid Joe’s fling with Dawn, it’s clear he’s not very well and is hiding a huge health secret, often seen in pain and taking painkillers and tablets.
However, during Thursday’s instalment (January 23) the soap dropped a major Kim bombshell - and fans are over the moon she is back to her conniving ways.
In the episode, Kim snuck into Joe’s room and planted a recording device behind his dresser. Later on, she was seen listening to a conversation he had with a mystery person on the phone, talking about his health issue.
Now, fans have ‘worked out’ what Kim has planned for Joe - and he should be worried. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “Good old Kim is back then.”
A second person added: “She knows about him and Dawn. She's very clever throwing them together.” A third penned: “Can’t wait to watch Kim ruin Joe and Dawn.” Another fan wrote: “I knew Kim wasn’t daft, go on Kim.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights on ITV1 and ITVX at 7.30pm
