Emmerdale legend Kim Tate kidnapped with soap star pointing the finger at two likely culprits

Emmerdale star Dean Andrews has given fans some insight into character Will Taylor’s inner-workings as a blackmail plot takes an even more sinister turn.

As Emmerdale viewers are aware, Will cheated on wife Kim Tate with his former flame Rose. He character is now being blackmailed to the sum of £50,000.

This is the price Will will have to pay to keep the plotter silent. Emmerdale spoilers reveal in a panic Will approaches Caleb Milligan for help.

Viewers will see Caleb surprised when Will asks for a loan in return for his shares in the haulage business. Having secured Caleb’s loan, things will be seen to take a terrible turn when Kim appears to have been kidnapped.

Will is summoned by the blackmailer to meet in woodland. Emmerdale star Dean Andrews, 61, discussed the storyline at a virtual press conference.

Asked if Will has any idea who is behind the plot, Dean answered: “I think he’s got a few. He thought it was Caleb at one bit. He doesn’t actually know.

“He just thinks it is somebody in the village. I don’t think there’s any clues to who it could be. Obviously, he thinks about Cain and he thinks about Caleb. People he’s maybe had run-ins with.”

Emmerdale viewers will have to wait and see who the culprit is revealed to be. Dean said the soap’s devotees will see Will riddled with guilt in upcoming scenes desperately trying to do anything he can to prevent Kim from finding out about his betrayal.

Dean explained: “He realises it was a stupid mistake after a few drinks. Him and Kim had a little argument, a couple of little moments of arguing, she was away. That turned into that. He knows deep down that he loves Kim and he didn’t want Rose.”

Unfortunately, that fling appears to have put Kim’s life at risk.
