Lydia is led away in handcuffs, Meena gets possessive and Mack runs the risk of being outwitted by his own sister – it’s all your Emmerdale spoilers for 3-7 May, 2021
Mack is outsmarted by Moira
Moira and Cain have a big plan: they want to catch Mack out on his dodgy dealings. It would seem like an easy task, seeing as Mack cheats and steals like the rest of us draw breath. But is he about to be busted?
What we’ll see is Charity warning an oblivious Mack not to mess his latest job up. But after taking Aaron along for the ride, the two guys soon run into trouble when Mack’s buyer flees after finding a tracker among the goods in the back of the van.

With Mack and Aaron reeling from the shock, they then fail to notice that Moria and Cain are creeping up to where the signal from the tracker has led them. But will a confrontation result in Mack getting outwitted? And how will Charity react to this latest mess-up?
Meena’s big mistake
I’ve a feeling that Emmerdale is gradually turning Meena into an unhinged and possessive partner from hell. Certainly, David is about to be left questioning his relationship with her when she gets the wrong impression about him and Leyla.
Upcoming scenes see Dr Liam issue David with orders to keep Leyla distracted while he sets in motion a secret scheme to propose to her. But when Meena spies David in Leyla’s company, she storms over and starts throwing accusations around, thus ruining Liam’s big moment.
In the end, Liam and Leyla will end up getting engaged after the lovestruck GP delivers a speech straight from the heart. But David might be wise to run for the hills should Meena ever start thinking about marriage.
Faith stands accused
Faith continues to be a nucleus of trouble when, first, she’s accused of theft by Brenda, who is missing a valuable brooch.
Then, after Bear spots Faith flirting with Pollard, the ex-wrestler starts plotting revenge. Let’s hope that Eric doesn’t up in a figure-four leg-lock, eh? He’d be out of action for the rest of the year.
Lydia is arrested
After enduring hardship and stress in recent weeks, Lydia is given a bit of a boost when she goes for a pupil liaison job at a local school.
Following her recent success with Vinny, both Mandy and Sam think that she’s a born counsellor, and her video interview goes well, despite the number of annoying pop-ups that inexplicably start flashing up on her laptop screen.
But, in the wake of all this, Lydia ends up getting a visit from the police, who arrest her on suspicion of running a scam pension scheme. Why, you may ask? Well, it turns out that her online profile has been linked to the fraud. But while a gossipy Nicola is quick to speculate that Lydia may well be guilty, a steaming Sam believes he knows who’s likely to be behind the crime. Will his suspicions prove to be correct?
